Antenatal Results and Choices Outreach Project

We are proud to introduce our ARC Outreach Project, a dedicated initiative working with ARC, designed to provide families with the care, understanding, resources and information to support pregnancy, antenatal testing and the results.

Through this project, we offer:

  • Active Listening: We take the time to truly hear your concerns, offering a safe space for you to express yourself without judgment.

  • Signposting to Additional Support: We connect you with valuable resources and guide you to support agencies that can assist you along the way.

  • Supporting Your Choices: We empower you to make informed decisions by providing respectful and informative support, no matter the path you choose.

  • Compassionate Grief Support: For families facing loss, our project provides the understanding and support needed to help you through the grief process with care and respect.

Support is available remotely via the phone or one-to-one directly.

About ARC Antenatal Results & Choices

ARC is the only national charity helping parents and healthcare professionals through antenatal screening and its consequences.

We offer impartial information and support to expectant parents facing decisions about antenatal tests and results. We do this throughout their journey – before, during and after tests, receiving unexpected or difficult news from tests and making decisions about what to do.

We provide independent, accurate, unbiased information so that parents can take the decisions that are right for them.

If a parent decides on termination, we support them through their loss and what can be a complicated grieving process that follows.

For parents who continue with their pregnancy, we offer emotional support through the pregnancy and signpost to organisations with expertise in specific conditions.

We train health care professionals and work with policy makers so that women and couples receive the highest possible standards of care.
