Great South Run Fundraisers Raise Over £1,400 for Portsmouth Families
Home-Start Portsmouth would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took on the Great South Run on Sunday and chose to support local children and families through their fundraising efforts.
This year’s team of incredible runners raised a fantastic £1,421, with every pound helping to provide vital support, resources and opportunities for families across Portsmouth.
Staff and supporters were out in force along the route, cheering runners on from the sidelines and celebrating their achievements. The atmosphere throughout the day was inspiring, and it was wonderful to see so many people coming together to make a difference for local families.
The funds raised will go directly towards supporting Home-Start Portsmouth’s work with families in the city, helping to deliver groups, activities and practical resources that strengthen family wellbeing and help parents give their children the best possible start in life.
We are incredibly grateful to all our runners for their dedication, commitment and generosity. Your support will make a real difference to the families we work with every day.
Inspired by this year’s Great South Run? We would love to hear from you. If you are interested in taking on the challenge in 2027 and raising funds for local children and families, please get in touch and join Team Home-Start Portsmouth.
